Vote with your Feet for Fixing Sidewalks at Atlanta Streets Alive!
Footprints for Safe Sidewalks! Participants of any age will make colorful footprints on a long banner and add their signatures, indicating support for fixing Atlanta’s sidewalks. PEDS will provide various colors of (washable) paint for people to dip their shoes or bare feet into and make a footprint. PEDS will present the banner to the Atlanta City Council at an upcoming meeting.
PEDS is a nonprofit, member-based advocacy organization dedicated to making metro Atlanta safe and accessible for all pedestrians. We work to improve engineering of the pedestrian environment, increase enforcement of pedestrian safety and educate drivers about their responsibilities to pedestrians.
