African Americans for the Arts: The African Americans for the Arts (AAFTA) will present its newest works from a diverse group of renowned artists. From quilts to hand-made jewelry, get a caricatures done or snatch up one of their postcards.
Mopfrog of North Buckhead: With Earth Day around the corner, Mopfrog will encourage visitors to use recyclable and compostable materials to make a beautiful collaborative mural on a series of large pieces of canvas. With tools such as tin cans, rocks, various vegetables, leaves and paper rolls, participants will help create fun stamps and painting tools that visitors can use to contribute to the mural.
Krav’n Wings: Enjoy the delicious chicken wings from Krav’n Wings. The restaurant will also set up an outdoor eating area.
Music in the Park: Music in the Park will provide live performances from diverse musicians along the route from 2 – 6 p.m. Featured performers include: Music in the Park Founder, Kebbi Williams, Russell Gun, Julie Dexter, Joe Gransden, Frank Barham and Brazilian Sounds, Eric McFadden, 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra, Rahbi and Mausiki Scales and the Common Ground Collective and many more.
