Atlanta Streets Alive! salutes Kwanza Hall

Atlanta Streets Alive! would like to recognize District 2 Councilmember Kwanza Hall for his tireless efforts on behalf of Atlanta Streets Alive!

Kwanza was the first city official to embrace this project, and he will be introducing a measure to Council on April 19th to garner support, as well as mailing information to his constituents and securing sponsorship from a variety of organizations.

Through a grant from the Center for Disease Control, he was recently able to attend a ciclovia in Guadalajara, and see what all the excitement is about! He would love to see Atlanta Streets Alive! become a weekly event in Atlanta, and is pushing hard to realize this dream.

When he’s not legislating for change in City Hall, he’s prowling around for good food and reppin’ his new fixie with ABC director Rebecca Serna.
